Established in 1983, The Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association (LACRA) is an association of real estate professionals who share a common purpose to elevate the professional, ethical, and educational standards of those engaged in marketing real estate in Greater Los Angeles. Among its goals, LACRA believes it has a responsibility to the community at large through volunteer and charitable work. It is this belief that has guided LACRA’s sponsorship of the Los Angeles Broker Challenge benefiting Family Service of Santa Monica for over 20 years.

The day begins with a series of sports competitions, and ends with an evening cocktail party under the stars, buffet dinner, and a fabulous raffle with the Grand Prize drawing for a luxurious week for two including airfare and seven days at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua in Maui. The Broker Challenge provides an opportunity for Los Angeles real estate professionals to share a day of friendly competition while raising funds to support the programs of Family Service of Santa Monica. Family Service of Santa Monica is a non-profit social service agency
whose mission is to provide services to adults, children, and
their families in coping with emotional, social and economic problems
that prevent them from leading satisfying and productive lives.
FSSM provides a range of services including counseling and psycho-educational
services to deal with issues of, child abuse, domestic violence,
sudden trauma, joblessness and troubled relationships. Family
Service celebrates over 80 years of community service.
